Marquee Commercial Drive Condos were built in 2014 within the Commercial Drive (Grandview) neighborhood of East Vancouver. Marquee on the drive is located at 2240 Commercial Drive and consists mostly of studio, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom suites, with two-level loft style homes on the penthouse level.
The condo development is 4 levels and has 58 strata units, constructed of concrete, zoned for mixed-use (residential above and commercial ground level), LEED Gold equivalent for energy efficiency and has a modern design over a classic heritage architecture. The project was developed by Image Development Inc and the architects tasked were Ankenman Marchand.
Marquee Commercial Drive condos – interiors
The interior of the suites range in size between about 500 square foot and slightly under 1000 square foot for the larger suites. As mentioned above there are floor plans of studios, 1 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms and loft style condos.
All Marquee Commercial Drive condo layouts are open concept with sliding glass dividers to define the bedroom areas. Kitchens feature modern cabinetry, stone counters, stainless steal appliances and gourmet kitchens. All suites come with contemporary laminate wood flooring and over-sized tile flooring in bathrooms.

The building once housed the Van East Cinema and was originally designed by the well known Bruno Freschi architect, celebrated for his work designing Expo 86 and Science World. The building was completely modernized in preparation for the Marquee condos, updated mechanical systems, soundproofing, new windows and two additional levels added to the top of the structure.
